Amanda has taken her own struggle with the disease and used it to help so many in the community.”

– Karol Watson, M.D. & Director of UCLA Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Health Program

Amanda Daniels is a heart disease survivor, mother of three daughters and a spiritual counselor. At 18-years-old she suffered her first heartquake™ - a term she uses to describe that moment in time when your life is forever changed - when she joined the ranks of the millions worldwide living with heart disease, and heart failure at 25.  She spent years in and out of doctors’ offices, hoping that her heart would improve.  While continuing on her regiment of medications and under close supervision of medical doctors, Amanda set on a soul journey to reconnect with her authentic self.  Through years of work through traditional therapy, spiritual counseling and shamanic training as a modern day medicine woman, Amanda pierced through the layers of emotional pain to heal her heart.

Amanda created Flight, a lifestyle brand, to empower a broader audience of people who don’t have the ability to see her for one-on-one sessions. Flight speaks directly to people who are either suffering from their own heartquake™, living with heart disease, grieving the loss of a loved one, longing for more purpose in their lives, learning to manage their own gifts as sensitives or looking for better overall health. She's broken down Flight into a simple formula. Force x Light = Flight. That's the Flight Formula. Heartquake™ will Force you to ignite the Light that's always existed within you so that you can take Flight to a healthy, more purposeful and fulfilled life.

In 2012, Amanda co-founded the first peer-led support group in Los Angeles for women living with heart disease: WomenHeart of West LA.  She is a spokesperson for the American Heart Association and has appeared on several TV programs, including EXTRA TV.  She was a featured speaker at the 2018 UCLA Wonder of Women Summit alongside powerhouses like Dr. Karol Watson, Goldie Hawn, Tipper Gore, Poppy Jamie and Talinda Bennington to name a few. Her heart story was published in SHAPE magazine and she walked alongside the Union Bank and American Heart Association's Union of Hearts float in the 2016 Rose Parade.  Amanda's slogan "meditation gives me strength" also appeared in a nationwide in store ad campaign for Burlington Factory Stores promoting heart health in 2016.

Amanda sees clients as an intuitive healer.  She also teaches adults and children the importance of incorporating mindfulness and meditation into their daily lives through her Flight Meditation program.  She’s spoken at RAND Corporation, UCLA, YPO Santa Monica Bay, charity events and in several other forums about heart healthy living.

After earning a B.A. from UC Berkeley, Amanda received an M.A. from USC’s Annenberg School for Journalism.  She is certified in Reiki TUMMO™ and has been training as a modern day medicine woman with Shaman April Rucker since 2011 through The Lantern, Healing and Transformation Program.  Amanda also studied with internationally acclaimed psychic medium, Tony Stockwell at the Arthur Findlay College for the advancement of spirituality, psychic sciences and mediumship in Stanstead, England.

A native of Los Angeles, Amanda resides in her hometown along with her husband, 3 daughters and a labradoodle named Lukas.
