Meet Amanda
I was an athlete. I ate heart healthy.
Yet at 18-years-old, I was diagnosed with heart disease. Heart failure at 25.
Just like you, I have a story. I have many stories. But I no longer allow them to define me. As a heart healer, I'm here to illuminate the way and support you on your path towards overall wellness. In 2014 I created Flight, a lifestyle brand, to empower those of you who can't see me privately for intuitive healing sessions. Through Flight I offer a complete set of Flight tools to help you identify Heartquake. Heartquake is trauma. Starting in childhood, adverse situations have shaped our experience of the world. Once you identify Heartquake, it'll become clear just how deeply wounds have written your life story. They are the basis of nearly every decision you make, without you even realizing it. It's time for you to flip the script! Through my own story of Heartquake, I'm here to empower you. We're all born intuitive. Let me teach you how to connect with the most impactful and masterful teacher you'll ever meet. The voice within your heart.
Amanda has taken her own struggle with the disease and used it to help so many in the community.
– Karol Watson, M.D. & Director of UCLA Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Health Program
I co-founded the first peer-led support group in Los Angeles for women living with heart disease: WomenHeart of West LA in 2011. I'm also on the Advisory Board at the UCLA Women's Cardiovascular Center, and a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. Everything I do is from the heart, and I'm on a mission to educate the community about the whole heart. In 2016 I walked alongside the Union Bank and American Heart Association's Union of Hearts float in the 2016 Rose Parade. My slogan "meditation gives me strength" also appeared in a nationwide in store ad campaign for Burlington Factory Stores promoting heart health.
I love inspiring groups through speaking engagements. I have had the honor of speaking at RAND Corporation and at the Wonder of Women Summit at UCLA, just to name a few. While most of my involvement is with UCLA, I spent my undergrad years at UC Berkeley, and have an M.A. from USC’s Annenberg School for Journalism.
As a woman always seeking more spiritually, I'm a trained medicine woman through Shaman April's Lantern, Healing and Transformation Program. I also studied with internationally acclaimed psychic medium, Tony Stockwell at the Arthur Findlay College for the advancement of spirituality, psychic sciences and mediumship in Stanstead, England.
I'm a California girl, born and raised in Los Angeles. Today, I live in Santa Monica with my 3 daughters and our dog Lukas.
